Oddworld Scoops Several Awards At E3 2019

We're inspired and eager to keep doing great work!

What an incredible, humbling experience this year’s E3 in Los Angeles was. We took a demo of the game we’ve been pouring our hearts into for several years and we showed it to dozens of members of the press. The feedback we got was simply phenomenal.

We were stunned to receive several awards. It started with a nomination from AusGamers for their Best of E3 award, which we eventually won. Then Laptop Magazine delivered their own Best of E3 award. Mashable brought a Best of E3 award through and Rock Paper Shotgun arrived soon after, with their Editor’s Choice award. The Enemy was next, with a Best of E3 Indie Game award. Finally, we got an E3 Pixel D’Or award for Best Independent Game from JeuxVideo.

As part of our attendance at E3 this year, Lorne appeared on a number of live streams with Geoff Keighley, IGN and ShackNews all graciously inviting us on to talk about what we’re working on. Those streams showed off a little gameplay too, if you need another reason to watch!

Those live streamed appearances seemed to excite our wonderful fans too, with so much feedback on our social media channels that we could hardly keep up with it all and we’re still reading through all of your amazing comments! We’re so happy that you liked what we had to show, and all of our developers are returning to their various distributed studios around the world to continue working hard on the game so that we can repay the faith you have all shown in us this past week.

Thank you!
