15 years old? You don’t look a day over 10!

MudoCon fan meetup at Eurogamer Expo [updated]
It’s not long now to Eurogamer Expo 2012 where you’ll finally be able to see Abe’s Oddysee HD in action. The developer session takes place at 15:00, but the real news is what happens after… can you say “fan meetup”? We’re holding the first ever ‘MudoCon’. Be part of history in the making.
If you’re at the show drop in and say ‘hi’. You’ll get to hang out with Lorne and Stewart and they’ll do their best to answer your questions. There’ll be nibbles and giveaways.
So, come join us on 30 September, from 16:00 to 18:00 at the expo. We’ll announce the room closer to the time.
Edit: The meetup will be in the room next to where our developer session takes place. If anything changes, we’ll announce on Facebook and Twitter.
Naming contest closed, but look at Abe HD!
Turn down your brain cogs and switch off your imagination, the contest to determine the final name for Abe’s Oddysee HD has come to a close. No more submissions will be accepted, and phew, is that a relief! In the single week the contest has been alive, more than four-and-a-half thousand entries have reached our inboxes.
Thank you to every last participant; thank you so much for making us look through so many thousands of ideas. Given the number of submissions, it’s going to take us some time to go through all the suggestions, but we still hope to announce a winner in the near future.
In the meantime, here’s a special little something we threw onto our official Facebook Page yesterday, and let me tell you the response has been staggering! We were suppose to wait until the end of September, but here’s a sneaky screenshot of a work-in-progress environment from Abe’s Oddysee HD. Don’t forget these are early days with a lot more work to be done. And remember that Lorne Lanning and Just Add Water will be giving the world’s first demonstration of gameplay at Eurogamer Expo next month.
Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee HD at Eurogamer Expo
Oddworld Inhabitants and Just Add Water are very excited to announce that we’ll be giving the world’s first demonstration of Abe HD at Eurogamer Expo. Details can be found in Eurogamer’s press release (below), and in the mean time don’t forget that we need to give Abe HD a name: submit your ideas before the deadline tomorrow!
Brighton, UK, 9th August 2012: Eurogamer Expo, the UK’s biggest and best gaming festival, is pleased to reveal that Oddworld Inhabitants and Just Add Water will be showcasing Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee HD and announcing exclusive details at this year’s show.
Suggest a name for Abe HD!
Hey there, fellow chumps! Here on Oddworld we’re having a little problem… maybe you can be the one to solve it!
See, we need a name for our 2.5D remake of Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee, and we need it in time for the big reveal later this year. We’ve considered Abe’s Oddysee HD, but that makes it sound like we’ve injected bigger pictures into the original engine. This is a grounds-up remake with glorious 3D graphics but retaining the classic 2D gameplay! We need a name that stands out and does it justice!
So if you’ve got your naming caps on and want to flex those titling muscles that you’ve been pumping every evening down at the imagym, just fill out this convenient form with your details and your idea.
If yours is the idea that stands out to us the most, not only will your winning suggestion be immortalized in the game, but you’ll get your name in the credits, plus a signed poster of the game’s cover art — by none other than Oddworld veteran Raymond Swanland!
The closing date is Friday August 10, and the result will be announced the following week.
So what are you waiting for? Get to work!
NOTE: A lot of people have been reporting problems using the form. We can only assume this is because of how much it’s being used, with hundreds upon hundreds of submissions. Please keep trying the form, as a lot of people report that it works when they try later. Given the problems, we will try to look at all the suggestions submitted as comments, but submitting to the form is the only way you can guarantee we’ll see it.
UPDATE: The contest has now finished and the submission form removed. The winning title will be announced at a later date. Thank you to all participants!
