Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee to release on PlayStation Classic
Oddworld Inhabitants, Inc. are delighted to announce that fan favorite Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee will once again release on a PlayStation console – in this case the upcoming PlayStation Classic.
Marking 21 years since the game was first released on the original PlayStation, Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee was Oddworld’s first title and is still loved and played today by our fans across the world.
It saw a ground-up remake, released on PlayStation 4 in 2014, titled Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty.
“We’re both humbled and delighted to have Abe release on the PlayStation Classic,“ says Oddworld’s Creative Director, Lorne Lanning. “Especially alongside such legendary titles like Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy VII.”
The PlayStation Classic releases at the start of December, with 20 games pre-installed. You can read more about it here.
