Almighty Raisin Bread Stuffing! (by Web)

1. Preheat your oven to 325 (aka, turkey temp)

2. Chop roughly half a loaf of raisin bread into small cubes (10-12 slices)

3. Dice up approx 1 1/2 cups of yellow onion and approx 3-4 large stalks of celery

4. Sauté the onion and celery in the butter until transparent. Use up to 1 full stick of butter, depending on how strong you want the flavor

5. Add in herbs and spices: Rosemary, Sage, Salt, Black Pepper, Brown Sugar, Cayenne Pepper, and Orange Zest (all to taste)

6. Mix the bread cubes in very thoroughly with the mixture, and add to a casserole dish

7. Pour roughly 1 – 1 1/2 cups Chicken broth over and into the mixture, and place in your oven (covered) for about half an hour

8. Remove the lid, and finish cooking another 20-30 minutes

9. You can also optionally add Cranberries or whatever other seasonal fruits/vegetables you’d like to this stuffing. It tends to be on the sweet side due to the sugar and raisin bread.

It may not be a usual Thanksgiving standard, but it should at least be New N’ Tasty!
