Yesterday, Oddworld Inhabitants celebrated 15 years since Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee hit the shelves for the original PlayStation. As a present to all the loyal fans, we’ve published another screenshot of the early version of Abe’s Oddysee HD.
More news will come out when we make the journey to Eurogamer Expo 2012 at Earl’s Court in London on 30 September. Also, don’t forget about our MudoCon fan meetup which is just after the developer session with Lorne Lanning.

It’s been 15 years and we still love you, Oddworld!
Really glad to see you’ve been able to keep the look and feel of the game alive. JAW have really nailed the art direction.
Updates like this will allow the newer generations to enjoy the game with same same sense of wonder that we were able to.
Good job guys, keep up the good work!
Wow! It looks amazing
I can’t wait to 30th of September to see much more about remake of one of the best platform games ever done . Love Abe and whole Oddworld Inhabitants!!! Happy Birthday an I wish another 15 good years!
See you then, if you can make it!
Buon compleanno abe ,spero torni presto.
wow this looks amazing i can’t wait, i hope exoddus gets the same treatment
Why don’t you guys approach Superbot and let them use your Abe licence free of charge for Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale?
It would be the perfect way to advertise Abe again to the masses and makes perfect sense since most people regard him as a Playstation character.
If it’s too late in development, consider him to be a DLC character. You guys can make a bit of revenue from that. I don’t want to see you guys go under :’( I’m buying the OddBox ASAP.

i didnt really use it anwayy. sometimes i would use my wavebird on it.. i did like playing the games that were progressive scan thru the wii, but i cant say i spent more than 2 hours total through the entire life span having the wii its amazing how many people (customers) i’ve talked to that didnt even know the wii could do gamecube. the one mistake i thought nintendo did was not hyping the crap out of its virtual console and gamecube support. you basically have the nintendo super system with nes, snes, n64 & cube, PLUS sega classics and more. they never advertised it. and barely you could find info on or inside the box. (not everyone has the wii connected to the wii shop. another feature ive found people didnt know about.) i mean the info IS there.. but if its not advertised with flashing lights and dancing girls, information goes over people’s heads..nintendo likes to leave out key information.. like how the Wii U is a new system and not just a controller for the original wii. lol.
