Users of OnLive now have no excuse not indulge themselves in Oddworld. Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath is now available to play, absolutely unlimited, to all subscribers of OnLive’s PlayPack Bundle. This means all four Oddworld games (otherwise known as the Oddboxx) are now included in the PlayPack Bundle.

for once i hate xbox 360, ive gotta get a ps3 just for oddworld
Or you could just buy the original game that was an Xbox exclusive. Xbox 360 is backwards compatible.
Xbox 360 is only backwards compatible with games Microsoft released compatibility patches for, and Oddworld Stranger’s Wrath is not one of them.
Really interesting that you don’t like XBox360. but was has Onlive to do with it?
(Ok I don’t want to mean: Onlive is not equal to XBox Live)
We don’t have a problem with Xbox 360. We would love to release Stranger’s Wrath HD on Xbox 360. We’re not the ones saying no to it.
What has OnLive got to do with what?
onlive is similar to xbox live on 360 isnt it? i was just saying that im gutted ill have to wait till xmas or maybe after to get a ps3 which is gnna set me back abit but it will be worth it. carnt play strangers wrath on the xbox 360 its not on the backward compatible list
also munch’s oddysee doesnt work well on the xbox 360 the sound doesnt work well but microsoft wont resolve the problem because only a few people have the sound problem and microsoft dont think its worth resolving
OnLive is a digital distribution service that allows you to play games installed on remote servers. You play the game on your own PC, but your controls are sent over the internet to the host machine. In return you stream the footage of your gameplay. You never have to install anything on your own computer, and you can play games on settings far greater than your own computer might be capable of rendering. It’s only available for PC, not Xbox 360.
As far as I’m aware, the sound issues in Munch’s Oddysee affect everyone, but Microsoft has long since closed its backwards compatibility program.
Thanks for clearing that up
Love the look of the new site, Alf.
Is the new Abe game in development or has an expected release date been… well, released?
I’ve been generating hype for you guys!
Keep working hard and strong
Abe HD is in development right now. You should hear the arguments between the artists and the programmers. “Your art is wrong!” “Your code is wrong!” “Your chair squeaks too loudly!” Ho ho, it’s a barrel of meaty laughs.
